Unfortunately yes. You will need to pass the initial assessment with Cathay, otherwise you will have to wait for a minimum period of 6 months before your KA application would be considered. Also, since both airlines are now using the same aptitude test, you are not required to resit the test twice if you have applied for KA. You can request them to transfer your scores to your KA application.
With that being said, is that there's no need to retake the aptitude test after transferring those scores and will go to the next round in KA? Base on my knowledge KA does not have tech quiz but the aptitude test only on initial right?
