She didn’t take the positions at the time because I would never have got a flying job then. Now I am in a better position which is why we are considering it.

Obviously make sure those are genuine offers. If they are you and your wife will enjoy a very high standard of living in Dubai.
I enjoy living here but I think a lot of people reading that will think “Why on earth come to EK if your wife’s career can bring in that kind of money?” Unless she can only earn good money in Dubai, of course.
