Lead Aircraft Engineer (Rotary) – Island Hoppers Fiji

About us:
Island Hoppers is a professional and progressive Aviation Operator domiciled in Fiji and operating throughout the South Pacific. We operate a mixed fleet of Helicopters and Fixed wing predominately for Part 135 passenger transport, EMS, scenic tours and skydiving operations. We operate 365 days of the year, and due to the increase in fleet size we require the services of an experienced and self-motivated Lead Engineer. We are currently under a fleet modernization program and need your help as we update and expand our fleet.
We have a team of Nationals and ex-pats working at Island Hoppers, and encourage a friendly family orientated community feel to our company.
About the position:
Ideally you will have an ICAO Type 2 or EASA Engineering License with group ratings for AS350, Bell 407 and/or Bell 212 with the following engine ratings preferable: Turbomeca Arriel Series, Honeywell LTS101,Rolls Royce 250, Pratt and Whitney PT6 Series.
You will be required to convert your current License to the Fijian System.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Lead Engineer with strong leadership, supervision and communication skills.
Have proven Aviation experience.
Compliance with Aviation Regulations and a high standard of maintenance is essential.
Be eligible to work in Fiji as this position is fulltime and you will need to live in Fiji. We will help the successful applicant with the immigration process.
