I can confirm that through friends who flew at KAL as both FO and Captain. As a 'ROUND EYE' expat you will be treated very badly. Their management style is 'put the fear of god into them' type management where your next sim check is your last if you step on the wrong toes.
I know of 4 pilots who all told me to avoid like the plague. All good pilots, decent people you would gladly share the cockpit with and a beer after work. I personally never flew there but I trust these guys and would certainly never apply.

Absolute rubbish, for starters the sims are staffed by mostly retired ex-USA guys who are for the most part there to help, so your suggestion that it can be used as a threat is completely wrong, as for your other suggestion that management puts the fear of god into the expat community again absolute rubbish, compared to somewhere like EK, my old employer, KE management are a decent enough bunch. Once through training you are left alone provided you keep you nose clean.
