They will most likely be there as a representative for EI and their service routine. They will therefore be additional to the minumum crew compliment. All safety related tasks will be completed by ASL crew. Another example of this is with the Titan airways and Jet2 contract. Jet2 will provide a rep on the flights but not part of the aircraft safety related crew compliment.
