Yes, I use your example of wind in that Solomons/Nauru area as an example on the website but would like full detailsl if you don't mind in your recall... What month was it and was that wind a vectored value and if so, where was it coming from?
I must say that is some flight in a single engine aircraft over water... 671 Nm in 5.5 hours averages at 122 Kts where the Turbo Lance is rated at 140Kts Cruise.
Although you are rarely able to get it these days, I'd still like 4 engines especially over water.
