Well that might have been the case, and I will standby for incoming, but for those of us still serving delete 'they' and insert 'we' ... and sharing an office at HQ Air with a couple of other members of what is now called the 'Air Operations (Control) Branch', we seem to have fallen into the habit of referring to the AO(C) collective as Battlespace Managers, or BMs - but that hasn't stopped the banter between 2 ATMs and an FC.
FWIW, I reckon it will be years before we fully understand the implications of these changes, but the School at Shawbury doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
