Righto the runway very wet to FO expect a firm landing, DOH absolute greaser...
Funniest one, FO did a shocker and I mean a shocker, he was convinced it was a hard landing, I convinced him it was a ****e landing but I’d seen worse. Poor fella was distraught so I said don’t worry I can fix it, confused look. Exited the runway stopped the aircraft after the checklist, picked up the PA, ladies and gents must apologise for that rather firm landing, just to let you know it was the first officer not me.... FO didn’t know wether to laugh or cry. On disembarking I got him to stand in the galley and say seeya, pax were fantastic a little fun humour, not one bad comment but so much fun. Yes it was a tourist flight.
Before you shoot me, I happened to do a rather firm arrival to earth, ditto on the above..... However the pax were less kind telling me I should learn how to land (yes still with humour).
