Since you’ve been there, I have a question about Sea Lion Island. Was it occupied by the Argentinians in 1982?
IIRC they had an occasional visit from the Argentinean military - just to show who was in charge - but no permanent garrison - it's a pretty remote spot TBH and there is
nowhere to hide so using it as a jumping off/recce base for the Brits was a no goer....................
