That's convoluted. Why make this specifically hard for aircraft ownership and not for, e.g., cars?

Well, that would be nice, however; with the new tax laws coming into effect and the ramifications of utilizing an aircraft registered to a business and utilizing it for pleasure.....best to fly First, Business or charter your own aircraft as that's what the new proposed legislation will tax you at.
