No real reason, it’s just possible... bust mostly the other posters are having a laugh. If there are no vacancies on the ATR you’d find yourself on the Q300 but dare I say that’s highly unlikely.
You need 1000 hours on type for an ATR Command at Mt Cook, and they’re desperately short in the LHS. So while it’s possible you’ll get the Q300, it’s more likely you’ll find yourself in the ATR.
