TBH, I don't know. I'm an admin on another forum (which admittedly doesn't run on VBulletin - sorry Internet Brands, I know you also own VBulletin....) but I'm reasonably familiar with the way the VBulletin Admin CP works, as it's not a lot different from the other forum software as far as the basics are concerned. Updating the copyright dates should be an automatic option, selectable from the Admin CP, much like the other issue of allowing the User CP to be able to select a range of styles (and from reading the VBulletin forum it's clear that the Admin CP allows a range of styles to be offered via the User CP).
My guess is that it's just something that's been overlooked during the update, something that I know can be a bit of a fraught process.
