The the ludicrous decision to get easyjet onto the iom - bfs route will have taken the profit away from eastern, and as expected they pulled off which probably explains why they ditched the other Belfast routes. (Can't speak for NCL however)

Yes, that is so, Cumbrian Boy, but at least the IOM-BFS-IOM EasyJet flights, which will start next month, are:
- Initially operating on Mondays and Fridays which are the most important days of all
- Likely to see the days of operation increase in time IF the demand is there
- Quite well-timed and surely will prove to be far more punctual and reliable than the service by Flybe / Eastern
- All year round. EasyJet, before the service has even started, with the recent publication of the October to February timetable has made it clear that this service is going to be all-year-round
- Up to 75% cheaper than the Flybe / Eastern prices. You probably do not know this but numerous people, including some frequent business and domestic travellers, have ignored the Eastern / Flybe service completely (refusing to pay exorbitant amounts) and they have been travelling IOM - Belfast and Belfast - IOM via Liverpool or via Dublin (+ a train) and saving very large sums as well as benefiting from often superior timings too.
As a previous flyer to Belfast ex IOM, we gave up completely once Flybe / Eastern prices came along. Now we intend to return and use this route much more often.
