I do seem to recall he did not say he was there the entire time and did not see fuel uploaded.
There may well have been a convincing story to a non turbine pilot to make statements as he did but they did not hold water to other company staff, CAsA or ATSB - not the first time.
But do remember no official channel is willing to say that it ran out of fuel - that highlights the name of this thread and the state aviation is in Australia.
I hope Eddy and the pilot in question both learn from this (if it is fact) and both move forward using it as a positive - on the bright side it was a great genuine emergency landing and that takes skill.
