The only way I can get back to the table of contents of sub-forum I'm in is to scroll all the way back to the top then click the page site link. Jumping to another sub-forum, say "Rumours and News", is no problem, open the dropdown then click the sub-forum.

No, the problem is as I described. Say I'm reading a thread in Rumours and News. I've finished reading that thread (ie I'm at the bottom of the page) and I want to go back to Rumours and News. On the old site, "Rumours and News" would be visible in the dropdown list box, with a Go button just beside it. I could click Go and go straight back to Rumours and News TOC.

With the new site, there is no dropdown lost box and no Go button. I have to click on Forum Jump (sorry, I called it Thread Jump in my original post), which presents a list of all the forums, but when I click on Rumours and News (ie the forum I am currently in), nothing happens. This only works if I want to go to a different forum. I could go to the top of the page and click on Rumours and News on the site navigation link, but that means scrolling. Maybe I could hit the back button? This wastes time and makes the experience much worse.

Reduced functionality.
