All the three day “hoop-jumping” does is confirm to the HR operatives that the pilot candidates can do what they’ve been doing as a matter of some routine for the past x years – something a switched-on DFO can establish in three minutes with the aid of his/her knowledge, experience, intuition and back-channel sources.
