Not far. l like the company, but I wanted to have an idea what my options are, and if I'm morally in the right to feel slightly peeved. Otherwise I should just suck it up.
Have you talked to HR/the boss about this ?
I wanted to hear what others thought first. I would hate to bring up a potential conflict with a closed mindset, especially if I'm in the wrong!
