I don't dispute what you say
aroa, but I believe there is still a very small group of competent staff who, given the recognition, legislation and competent management, could rebuild - or at least make a good start on the next permutation of our aviation regulator.
I bet there are some fantastic people at CASA who would love to see the Act changed so they no longer have to live a lie when it comes to the regulatory system but can look at cost and participation levels.
I totally support Dick's comments.
