Interesting points.
I think my concern is one of 'horses for courses' - I just don't think it's fair that I have to share what used to be called 'business lounges' with a bunch of loud mouthed idiots going off to Prague on a stag or hen do.
If you hear the phrase 'eh, it's dead posh in 'ere innit - they've even got Stella' either they are in the wrong place...or I am.
There should be some provision for people that choose to do that but if I'm traveling for work, it's likely I want to use the time in the lounge to do some prep work for the trip or generally get 'in to the zone'.
Emirates at T1 is the best IMO - it would be nice if there was a dedicated lounge for the Alliances but probably only *A have the critical mass at MAN. (I guess the BA lounge serves as a de facto OW lounge too).
