why do people keep insisting that the cabin crew get good rosters because of industrial pressure? Last strike they were on was 1992 or 1993 I think.

They simply call in sick - they called in sick for long day turnarounds so now they get paid for them. They called in sick for patterns with low allowances so now they get longer patterns.
