I thin that is an advantage that Southend has over say LTN- if i ain't making money Ryanair won't hang around and neither for very long will Easy or Wizzair.
Of course FR/EZY/WZZ don’t pick up car park income, terminal spend etc and they also have to pay for handling etc, so also STK’s breakeven figure is in theory much lower.
On ANR specifically I’ve also heard of loads around 20-25 though that does represent a significant improvement on their last attempt and my own experience.
