I wasn't aware that portable ADS-B Out was legal in Europe. It isn't in the US. Also, in the US, SIL must be >= 3. As far as I can tell, the EASA requirement is also SIL >= 3. The uAvionix unit has SIL=1.
I understand that SIL=1 will mean that it will show on ATC displays and I believe TCAS will see but not offer an RA?
