Does anyone know if someone who is type rated and experienced on another Boeing airplane would still have to do the whole cadet program with full length line training? I have one year experience as F/O on a heavy Boeing (Not 737, so I don't qualify for direct entry F/O). I've been called for assessment by the end of this month and wouldn't know if asking this would be misinterpreted as trying to take shortcuts

Yes I believe you have to go through the whole programme regardless of your one year experience on a heavy Boeing
