After reading the latest ORSA 1260
It only relates to single engine piston helicopter 2000 kg or less
Not a turbine so it looks that you can only use a exemption if it’s a piston heli

I think that the type rating is transferable to your CAA licence but you may have to find a U.K. examiner for the LPC, if any in fact exist. I also think that you can now use a self declaration medical to support the U.K. licence so that would not be an issue.
