Jetstar HK Round Two Express Star!
The first attempt into Hong Kong was a failure but it looks like Jetstar Australia are closing the deal on the Hong Kong Express sale from Hainan.
From the horse's mouth, they're looking at sending up a new management team as soon as the acquisition is complete to help clean up the Express mess and solidify their position in the region.
Despite losing $200 million with their initial play into the Hong Kong market, the new bid for Express will help link up all of the South East Asian Jetstar groups and make them one of the leading low-cost carriers in the region.
