This isn't a player merely expressing their opposition to same sex marriage or a simple opinion on gay relationships. Israel Folau openly said that gays are destined for hell unless they repent.
I think paying all that money to display a logo on the front of Israel's chest during matches gives a company the right to determine whether or not they wish to use their corporate identity on the front of someone who has made such statements. Or at the very least be able to put out a statement saying that they disagree with Israel's views.
Isn't that freedom of speech in action?
