If the system is installed and maintained properly it works as advertised. There were a number of issues in the initial installs but these have since been corrected. Normally 3 fingers are enough to pull the lever with the hand still on the cyclic grip. Every 3 years an actual inflation is required with bottles, bottle cables, and floats replaced.

I notice in the last picture, the actual shear pin is not installed. its supposed to be in the small hole just up and to the right of the safety pin.
With no cushions on the PIC seat and plastic on SIC seat, my guess they are installing/replacing the float bottle cables. Installing the shear pin ( "A" rivet) is one of the last things to do.
