On most routes from Heathrow and Gatwick there is plenty of choice. Norwegian may have newer planes but is prone to delays and cancellations as well as losing money all over the place.
BA is making money at Gatwick up against Norwegian and EasyJet. Extra 150 flights a week from Gatwick this summer. They must be doing something that most people want. Most people want good value fares, the right destination and frequency. Both BA and EasyJet offer that.
