My first camera was a Brownie Box No. 2 (1901-1935). Quite sophisticated for its time. Three apertures, selected by a slide and one shutter-speed, plus a “Bulb” setting. It used 120 film, which Kodak introduced for this camera.
The contact prints were 3 ¼” x 2 ¼”, which was quite an acceptable size. I still have an album of my first attempts and my brother, who is a collector, still has the camera.
eckhard,
During my career, I had occasion to use vertical aerial photos and they were always contact prints.
