Any statistics to support your claim or only anecdotal evidence? My observational anecdotes show the same guys who show up early at sign on, acknowledge OCNs, fly sick and fatigued, do CD to get home, continue or volunteer for training, dance like idiots on floats (etc.) have been well and truly intimidated by the AMP to the point where sickness has been successfully discouraged. Please tell me I’m wrong. I’d like to be.

That said, it doesn’t really matter, does it? The distribution of pilots is completely out of whack. Too many CNs on the 747, nowhere near enough on the Airbus. The 777 still earning heaps of EFP. Many of the FOs and even SOs with decent experience are leaving, creating a growing void in the middle. Not enough experience to upgrade CNs at KA, and essentially no CN courses occurring at CX. Cost reducing bases are locked up, and those on bases are spread all over in a roughshod and illogical distribution.

In short, FOP is a mess. One that this Management team did not create but has certainly exasperated. The unions have the only decent ideas to fix things, but those will never be enacted because, well, the current managers didn’t think of them. So keep on trying to plug a square peg into a round hole and see how much better things will get. Idiots!!!
