Ehhhhh. I disagree slightly. A company that is now defunct, had 20 Jeststreams with TPE 331 on them. They threw the bull gear through row 1 on occasion. When the engine did surge, it was so ‘vigorous’ that it became impossible to read the engine instruments when trying to ascertain if within limits (per the QRH). They were also loud AF.

Other than that, I agree with you. Especially the part about ‘at the same time’
