Airbus had an interesting 'sound comparator' at the Expo. You stood on a square and a vertically attenuated speaker from above demonstrated the sound of a normal helicopter in flight.
(The Airbus test pilot said it was a dauphine, didn't sound like a dauphine to me, but any way)
Then an adjacent sound square with the H160 in flight. If what I heard is a true comparison, its remarkably quiet.
Very impressive machine. Watch out Leonardo, their coming.
The horizontal stab did look very complicated and over engineered.
