Sounds like a good reason even though I don't really believe it myself since I come from Switzerland (and as you might know we've got some high "cumulusgranitus" around as well). Here same rule applies as in the rest of Europe (at least
AFAIK). So there must be another "good" reason why we do it like this over here (unless the yankees are really smarter
).
