I think the AN26 is the military version and the AN24 is the civil version.
An-24 is base cargo/passenger
An-26 is military cargo (hence big rear ramp)
An-30 is aerial cartography version
An-32 was developed for mountain takeoff/landing for India/Pakistan AF
