And a substantial cost to your career if you want to move up within the group because you are now ‘too valuable’ to the company to be allowed to transfer to Mainline, Jetstar etc. Have seen many fine and upstanding colleagues being held back for substantial periods of time whilst watching pilots with multiple handling incidents, pilots with multi million dollar repair bill accidents, staff travel misdemeanours and guys with less than a year’s service get transfers.
