Some of you here need a serious reality check. No company ever asks you to attend an interview... it is your choice. Some low cost carriers even charge you for the privilege of being interviewed.
Alot of rubbish is being written here about the company by unsuccessful candidates who it is clear have NOT done their homework about the company prior to applying and now feel they have an axe to grind.
Aer Lingus has been around for many many years and their training dept and operations are second to none. The wages get increasingly better as you progress your career and the pension is one of the best in the industry. So although a few of you here feel like you have to bash the company just because you were not successful I would take a serious look at yourself!
