I don’t have a turbojet rating, and I’m not military qualified, so I gather SkyWest wouldn’t pay any bonus to me, and their salary is also less.
Ah so...that explains it. They weren't really refusing to pay Aussies the bonus as such.
As for Republic, I'd be surprised if they won't take an E-3. Back when they were having their bankruptcy, they tried to hire a bunch of Brazilians but were stopped by the government. I posted something about that but am too lazy to find it now. I'm pretty sure I remember it.
