I was just going by their website, that says, "A $7,500 bonus for pilots with current turbojet type rating is available upon completion of IOE. The $7,500 bonus is also available for qualified military pilots.”
I don’t have a turbojet rating, and I’m not military qualified, so I gather SkyWest wouldn’t pay any bonus to me, and their salary is also less. They don’t look as attractive as others by pay alone.

Meanwhile, Mesa is offering:
•$22,500 paid after the completion of training
•$20,000 paid after the completion of Year 3

People do say to avoid Mesa, but it it really worth forgoing $44,000 to avoid them?
