The waste of our money continues!
Keep racking up costs for Oz industry and waste like this happens:

“Just heard another story on how your Png aid is being wasted.
Aust aid fund 2 x Bell 212 helicopters for the PNG defence force on contract from hevi lift , crewed by expat pilots because there are no PNG national pilots or co pilots in the PNGDF ...
.One heli has been in wewak for the last 3 weeks flying out to the island which has has a volcanic eruption.
The helicopter crew were due for a crew change , but the PNGDF refused to pay for the airfares for the pilots out of Moresby to wewak.....so because aus aid are paying all the helicopter expenses including accomadation .....they flew the helicopter all the way to moresby to do the crew change, then back to wewak.....a 12 hr round trip, so instead of the PNGDF having to pay approx 3000 kina for airfares.....aust aid paid approx 100,000 kina in helicopter time......???
This country is so aid depandant....it will never be able to be 'independant'........
yet desite the aid, here we have to drive around town in first gear, because the pot holes are so bad....its like driving down a river bed.”
