A South Korean aircraft skidded runway and crashed into a grass verge catching fire during takeoff at Changi Airport, Singapore on February 6, 2018. The aircraft was part of a flight display at the Singapore Airshow.

The aircraft belongs to South Korean Air Force aerobatic demonstration team, the Black Eagles, which was taking part in an aerial display at the Airshow.

Changi Airport clarified in a statement that the incident took place on Runway 1 at approximately 1.30 pm. The pilot was sent to the airport clinic for a check-up and, according to the Strait Times, has suffered only minor injuries.
