Which is exactly how I like to plan things out; I am still in the (Army) Reserves and it is only possible because I am able to fit in my activities with it around my job and family life. Also, I am in a National Unit and I am only obliged to do 19 days a year, although I do the 27 days that is expected in a Regional Unit/Headquarters. That said, it has to fit in with family life and, unfortunately, I have just applied for de-selection from a post as a GLO/SO2 Contingency Plans at Odiham with 18 & 27 Sqns. I am very disappointed by this but my son's education must come first.
