The Captain of the BA 747 (mentioned in the previous post) made on of the best cabin announcements I have ever come across:
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem. All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnest to get them going again. I trust you are not in too much distress."
