Really useful information Roverman. I have to say I'm a bit surprised that the Pier 1 will, in effect not be much bigger than the current Pier C (which is roughly 200m x 25m at its widest). Admittedly there will be much more internal space given the split over two floors - I assume ground floor will be office space, etc rather than lounge space.
Your comment too in a later post about the scaling back of the size of the terminal extension is also a cause for concern in terms of accommodating future growth.
On the plus side, I travelled through T2 on Sunday morning and was through and into my taxi within an hour of touch down. It would have been quicker but only half of the e-gates were in operation.
