I passed through LTN yesterday morning at Wizz o'clock there were signs that the ugly duckling of an airport might be turning into a swan.
to be fair it was clearly a day of low loads but the bomb site of a short stay car park has closed and there is the multi story, a "real" short stay car park, which is a great improvement. It has to be said though the corridors from the car park to the terminal are dangerously slippy and I am surprised a claims management company does not have some one touting for business there. In the terminal some of the hoardings have gone and there is proper branding, security was a five minute affair. The departure lounge was busy but not over crowded and on arrival back in the evening there was no queue for immigration and I was back in the car park 25 minutes after touch down
