Barnaby Joyce was re-elected to Parliament on 2 December and appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Transport on 20 December 2017.
He seems to have gone to ground, dropped out of sight? Not even a press release or comment to the media for the past month. Most un-like Barnaby who normally takes every opportunity to publicly express an opinion……
One would have thought one of his first priorities would be a brief indication of his policy direction for Australian transport, including Australian aviation?
Or does Barnaby intend to uphold the fine tradition of Australian Ministers for Transport and totally ignore aviation, whilst the industry continues to decline alarmingly, Aussie flying training dies, CASA runs amok and the 29 year “job to retirement” regulatory re-write continues in perpetuity?
