Presumably one of the few benefits of a BACF job was that, for years, weekend work was fairly limited because of the LCY restrictions.
Sunday afternoon/evening has always been a full service time for BACF, and while some of the rosters may be longer than before, eg EDI-LCY-PMI and return in a shift, they get you through your hours in quicker time than doing short sectors.
Furthermore, the pax apparently remain a decent bunch compared to the Luton lot to the same destinations. Someone observed that on the Mediterranean flights they very often see familiar faces from the rest of the year heading to Frankfurt or Edinburgh.
