No other reason than curiosity, but I'm wondering how the BACF crews feel about this expansion of weekend flights from the rest of the UK and now Gatwick which started last year and now seems to be becoming a permanent feature.
Presumably one of the few benefits of a BACF job was that, for years, weekend work was fairly limited because of the LCY restrictions. But now it seems that BACF will soon become a full 24/7 operation and one of the few benefits is likely to disappear.
Has this change been welcomed amongst those crews ?
