It was inevitable there were going to be major issues with parking due to the loss of the short term car park. The surprise is that it has happened so early after its closure when the airport is on its winter timetable.
The mid term is running at reduced capacity as well, which will become permanent when the Dart route is being constructed. There was a plan to put in a temporary multistory in this car park to help ease parking problems in the CTA but the programme was abandoned late last year.
