EasyJet pay/basing
Hey guys,
Easyjet are giving very little info so i thought I'd enquire here, there is another thread running elsewhere but it's got a different direction and doesn't really relate to what I'm looking to find out.
Before asking for a full breakdown, this was posted two years ago of the pay from someone coming out of the easyjet MPL, can someone who knows about it please confirm or deny if this pay breakdown is accurate:
I'm more interested in the EZY pay itself rather than how it compares to BA but that's how it was posted originally. EZY haven't given any info on this at all and don't plan to until the contract is in front of us so kindly looking for advice from those in the know if possible.
My other query relates to basing and rostering. The base that suits me most (living in Dublin) is Belfast. Is it entirely absurd of me to consider commuting? Do EZY have a 5 on, 3 off policy somewhat reflecting the Ryanair roster pattern or is this not the case at all? I'm told that at the start, I should not expect to be in the UK and to consider myself extremely lucky if so. However around year 2 I believe you can request to change base, how likely is it to get a Belfast base? Is this nigh on impossible during the first years?
Any other info would really be very helpful, as EZY are not releasing a whole lot of info other than what we have to pay.
Thanks for any help

The BA one isn't accurate. A short haul command is not at year 19 either at present. People with the requisite hours were getting them within two years of joining last year.
There's more to it than just pay as well, basing, commuting, roster pattern, career choice (LH/SH) etc are both different.

BFS list isn't long for FO's but for Captains its easily a 10+ year wait. In fact it's so long I hear many of the FOs are turning down commands now, resigned to life in the RHS but at home.
There are about 999 different contracts in Ezy. Through time conditions have got worse. Pay for new CPT after 5 years as FO is about 115-120. Take into account that due to the roster and low cost model, you will be forced to go part time or take unpaid leave so your pay will eventually decrease. Plus you will have to put a lot more into your pension compared to the better BA pension
