Interesting evening at Gatwick?

Traffic chaos earlier due to an accident on the M23, UAE A380 just diverted to Heathrow with a low fuel emergency after going around at LGW.

Twitter saying an Easyjet "incident" caused 26L to close, 26R now in use?

Apparently a hole has appeared in 26L

The authorities are looking into it.

Well to get to LHR from LGW they would have to, along with the M25 and M4.

Not necessary to use the M4 to get to LHR from LGW. You can come off at the Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 exits from the M25.
